If it is true that the simultaneous production of cold and heat with a single machine is not our invention, it is not a gamble to say that we were the first to make it work in the refrigeration of fluids at negative temperature.
It is well known that the food industry often needs cooling and thermal energy simultaneously to comply with the numerous processes such as maturing or high packaging that require control of both temperature and humidity.
To this it should be added that since 2010, therefore in unsuspecting times, we have set ourselves five objectives, namely Energy saving across the board, Massive reduction of freons, Reduction to zero of methane or LPG to produce hot water, Reduction of the overall environmental impact and 70% reduction in service visits to our facilities.
So it did not seem true, for once to be able to draw from commercial conditioning using multipurpose chillers already on the market.
But as already happened in the past with commercial condensing units, this time too a total disappointment.
The air conditioning machines, in spite of the declarations of the respective manufacturers, when they are pushed to refrigerate a mixture of water and 30% glycol at a temperature of -9 ° C go into crisis and are subject to continuous breakage.
The type of exchangers, the exchange surfaces, the mechanical components, the pipe thicknesses used and the set regulation system are tested for water at +7/+12°C. and not at the viscosity of a glycol fluid at -9°C. So once again impressive resources to redesign and test in the field our new Ecofreddo bivalent chillers that are now working very well in various plants in Italy and in the world and in very critical climatic conditions such as those of Dubai.
The cold and heat necessary for these systems are generated simultaneously and with total recovery by simultaneously powering both the peripheral units equipped with cold battery and those equipped with hot battery with the following results achieved.
Extraordinary energy efficiency that translates into low electricity consumption, no more dedicated methane or LPG boilers, minimum environmental impact not only thanks to reduced consumption and the containment of freon in a few kg but also because of the extreme silence in the field, and finally plant downtime and emergency interventions equal to zero because our Ecofreddo® chillers are installed in “tandem” with master-slave architecture electronics.
